80% of Women Wear the Wrong Bra Size
By Sparkling_
Or, more accurate, over 80% of all women. And those are not very good odds. Truth is, it's very likely that you have the wrong bra size, and don't even know it! For many people, the bra feels okay and you think that you've found the right size. Until someone proves you wrong. Finding your bra size is almost (note, I said almost) as good as eating a Ben&Jerry's all by yourself.
Wearing the right bra size is going to give you a better posture, it's going to be more comfortable, look better under the clothes, and without clothes for that matter.
Wearing the wrong bra is like wearing wrong jeans. Why should you when there is a perfect fit?
My Story and the How
I've given you the what and the why, but what about the how?
The how I'm presenting to you is simple. In fact, I'm going to post a few links to great hubs that tells you how your bra should fit, what can go wrong and how you should measure. The links are going to be right under here.
However, though these hubs are both informative and easy to follow, I should tell you that they don't work for me. I've tried a lot to find my right bra size, feeling that my bra was not the right size but unable to find any better. Duh!
Well, my problem was that I didn't really know how the right bra would fit, how it would feel. After all, if I had it I wouldn't be searching for it.
My last resort was going to a specialised store for bras, a tip I'd gotten in almost every article I'd read but never done anyway.
Why the last resort? I'm barely legal and I'm shy. I think it's embarrassing to walk into a store and say "Hi, I can't really figure out what my bra size is, can you help me?". It's a shame it was so easy, and so not-embarrassing when I finally went there. I had collected all that courage to go there, and then it was just so easy.
The lady was so nice and friendly I felt kinda cheated. Was this what I'd been so afraid (and honestly, to lazy) to do? All angst, and the trying to figure it out by myself when this was so much faster? And easier. And I got a good result which I actually didn't get before.
You should be aware though, that not all brands have the same proportions and measurements, so you'll have to check each bra you wear. On the other hand, now that you've got one bra (or however many you bought at the specialised store) that fits perfectly you have something to compare the rest to, and that is going to make a big difference.

I can understand how fustrating it is not being able to find the right size, most of my teen years i thought i was a 16c and wore horridly uncomfortable bras,im actually 18G/18GG i suggest getting fitted properly. Different brands with the same sizes can also be different.
Im from nz and i got mine from Avokado. You can look them up online and there are other places online that sell good bra's. Goodluck!
When do you able to know that you were certainly wearing the wrong bra size? Some women don't really anticipate the sizes of bras that they are going to wear. In fact, there are relevant situation that we don't even guess for the exact one.

If you have the misfortune to need a large back width but not large cups then it is almost impossible to find a bra to fit. While bras up to size 16 normally come in all cup sizes, those that are 18 or above only come in C plus cup fittings. I am a size 20B and it is almost impossible to buy a bra in that size in Australia, let alone a nice one. In the last decade, I have been only able to find one cheap type in a discount department store. jill
